Each submission should include no more than three pieces. 

Only unpublished work will be considered.  Plume Poetry  claims First North American Serial Rights, rights revert to the author upon publication.  In addition, we reserve the right to reprint poetry in anthology form. 

Plume encourages international submissions.  However, authors submitting work in languages other than French, Italian, Spanish, or German should provide their own translations along with the translator's name for each piece. 

We will respond as promptly as possible with the disposition of your piece, although "promptly" might mean a few weeks or several months, depending on the volume of submissions and our own schedules.
